There is an odd, new palpable feeling in the air. The very structure of the rails on which our nation, and perhaps the world itself moves, is changing. Not in terms of human form, but ontological changes which are forcing people to reassess what is important today vs. what was so in decades past concerning means of survival.

No doubt that technological advances are behind such reassessments.

In the past 100 years, significant changes in societal management was hard pressed to occur in a given year, or even decade or two.

Now, as the first American Triumvirate (itself a significant event) continues its multi-faceted attack on government bureaucratic largess, the timing of such a thoroughly penetrating investigation into government spending is perhaps rooted in the increasing awareness that anything inefficient to a large degree will not survive in a world that is becoming highly technically managed. As such, big centralized machines must adapt a more efficient way of operating, or die.

There is nothing more inefficient than a government full of hundreds of nonproductive, reprobate bureaucrats who produce nothing but more laws to enrich themselves or those who have bought and owned them. And this fact being ever more exposed by DOGE, has society in advanced nations sensing a strange new curious collective feeling in the back of their minds.

That feeling is perhaps the inevitability of what any human being experiences when they realize that while the modern tools of living are advancing in new directions, the big bloated centralized government remains just as DOGE is uncovering it to be: full of waste, fraud, corruption, theft, graft, and gods only knows what further lacunae remain undiscovered. All being paid for by their taxes.

When you commence to put order into an activity or thing that has been in a state of confusion or disarray, one of the byproducts of that process will be, at first, an increase in confusion and chaos as order is restored.

We saw how the markets reacted to the US increasing tariff demands. The entire world reverberated, proving still, that the United States carries quite a lot of economic clout on the planet. And when the United States starts taking steps to clean up its act, the world will feel it. And feeling it they are.

Be mindful of expected continuing volatility during this Pavan of tariffs and audits. Continue to monitor the DOGE website for up-to-date figures on waste and fraud discoveries. Consider writing your congressional representative and voice your support for DOGE, and to demand criminal prosecution of those found to have wrongly benefitted from unlawful acts of whatever nature is evident.

Crypto is highly headline sensitive, and the wise speculator will bring his spare cash to bear on news-driven dips to add to positions of value-based tokens. As long as you keep critical cash out of this highly volatile arena, you will ride out the storms like a pro while the kamikaze, quick-buck, top and bottom seeking margin call junkies go into DTs when the wife finds out that her BMW is being repossessed, and leaves them for a wiser fool.

In our view this is not the time to sell all crypto and go to cash. If the economic processes in play right now should send the country into recession, then the Fed will no doubt counter with increased liquidity. A global recession will probably result in similar acts by the Chinese and Europeans. In such conditions, BTC has performed more like a safe haven than as a risk on/off asset. So, either way, having crypto in your speculative portfolio is wise, especially now.

Consider the tariff moves a kind of pivot. During this 90 day tariff pause, nations are calling the US and wanting to make deals. The tail risk of tariff wars is basically over. Crypto moves are still expected to be higher than the recent ATH.

If you have spare risk cash, now is your time to put it to work. BTC remains a good buy at under $100,000. XLM, under $0.65. ETH, under $1650.

Here’s what you might watch for between now and July:

• Trade deal news of a positive nature
• A clear dovish pivot from the Fed
• Bitcoin holding the $75K–$80K range of consolidation (important for further rises from a base of firm support).
