There is nothing more inefficient than a government full of hundreds of nonproductive, reprobate bureaucrats who produce nothing but more laws to enrich themselves or those who have bought and owned them. Crypto is highly headline sensitive, and the wise speculator will bring his spare cash to bear on news-driven dips to add to positions of value-based tokens. As long as you keep critical cash out of this highly volatile arena, you will ride out the storms like a pro while the kamikaze, quick-buck, top and bottom seeking margin call junkies go into DTs when the wife finds out that her BMW is being repossessed, and leaves them for a wiser fool.
In our view this is not the time to sell all crypto and go to cash. If the economic processes in play right now should send the country into recession, then the Fed will no doubt counter with increased liquidity. A global recession will probably result in similar acts by the Chinese and Europeans. In such conditions, BTC has performed more like a safe haven than as a risk on/off asset. So, either way, having crypto in your speculative portfolio is wise, especially now.

First off. A warning. Don’t buy into the “it never happened” thing. It did happen, but not to the extent or by the intention often associated with it.
For example, at Auschwitz, the official story is that 1.4M men, woman and children were gassed and burned to ash. Of course, that’s nonsense. No such fuel sources or cremation facilities were available for that kind of thing to dispose of those numbers over that time. He explains how the actual deaths numbered in the lower six figures at Auschwitz. Gassings did happen, but early on, and in two small huts that were later abandoned. The deputy commander at Auschwitz confirmed this.
The Bug River camps of Treblinka, Sobibor and Belzec were another story. I run a rather complicated homelab computer environment. I have a server cluster that sits on an internal 25Gb fiber optic linkup, the backbone in the rafters of the basement runs 10Gb fiber optic to all the rooms, where it downsteps to media converters and switches at 2.5Gb and 5Gb. The whole thing is overkill and just because. Once I get the Cisco switch to come fully to heal, the whole thing will be perfect for me. I’ve wired the whole house to get rid of Wifi, and the stone structure does keep a lot of stray EMF off the premises.
Now, all this is a personal thing. I have some, mostly failed, LLM experiments on the cluster, and will probably upgrade the GPUs when prices fall a little more or maybe use the Intel stuff.
