Greetings!

This morning I received, in confidence, a private communication containing very positive news of progress by dynastic Elder principals.

While we were given additional details, WHA was instructed to not reveal them. As WHA always keeps confidences as a condition for further support, we will respect this wish.

I was going to simply post this as a comment, but on further reflection, I thought it best to publish it to our readership.

It’s hoped that positive updates will continue!

Earlier we predicted that 2026 was going to be a pivotal year; that forward progress would have to take place along a wide front of a very diverse set of transformational projects within the human experience – technological, political, financial, social. The information we received today would seem to validate that a particular ram has touched the wall, and this time it’s going to continue forward.

We hope so!

There are no significant crypto updates at this time, but all prior recent suggestions and observations are still valid at this time. There will be no going back. Adoption, regulatory clarity, crypto-based products and stablecoin payment rails are no longer theories. They are movements.

    We usually talk about LLM hallucinations as short-term annoyances. Wrong citations, made-up facts, etc. But I’ve been thinking about a longer-term failure mode.

    Imagine this:

    An LLM generates a subtle but plausible “fact”: something technical, not obviously wrong. Maybe it’s about a material property, a medical interaction, or a systems design principle. It gets picked up in a blog, then a few papers, then tooling, docs, tutorials. Nobody verifies it properly because it looks consistent and keeps getting repeated.

    Over time, it becomes institutional knowledge.

    Fast forward 10–20 years, entire systems are built on top of this assumption. Then something breaks catastrophically. Infrastructure failure, financial collapse, medical side effects, whatever.

    The root cause analysis traces it back to… a hallucinated claim that got laundered into truth through repetition.

    At that point, it’s no longer “LLMs make mistakes.” It’s “we built reality on top of an unverified autocomplete.”

    The scary part isn’t that LLMs hallucinate, it’s that they can seed epistemic drift at scale, and we’re not great at tracking provenance of knowledge once it spreads.

    Despite Claude Opus 4.6 being restored to grace, I’ve shifted to GPT Codex which in real terms costs me a full 66% less in runtime request costs at almost 4x the speed. Isn’t the same caliber as Opus in its full impact but it works well. I have to “think” more and give more precise directions but it is a small price to pay.

    I didn’t hear anything about how removing three zeros (assuming this means they will stop circulating those large notes since you can’t remove such from existing notes) would cause a significant increase in value of the IQD. He then says to “stay tuned and have faith”. Faith, in what?

    If they repudiate the larger 25,000 notes that would seem to indicate that you would have to turn them in for a 25 note before they cancel the larger bills.

    Since there are 40 25,000 notes in 1,000,000 dinar, converting them to 25 notes would give you 1000 dinars. Then, if they by some miracle raise the value of the IQD to 1$ per, that gives you $1000. About what you would have paid for 1,000,000 dinars years ago.

    I don’t see how this dude is somehow thinking he’s going to make millions of dollars here. The above breaks you even, no more. Even at 3$ per, you make $3,000. Not bad but not the millions of dollars so many have been led to believe they will make from this, courtesy of Iraqi war dead.

            The interesting hidden premise in the 2nd Battlestar series, is that God keeps trying, repeating the Human-Cylon experiment , in hopes it would come out right.

            Which raises a side-point. Namely that human DNA codes for ~4^(3×10^9) individual humans. That number is crazy big. So, with every cycle, the odds of getting even a small fraction of identical humans between cycles is infinitesimal.

            We are each incredibly unique, even against a backdrop of multiple infinities… or should that be eternities…

    This will be my last post on Anthropic unless something drastically shifts. It’s clear they have priced themselves completely out of the consumer market and the price-point is unacceptable to anyone but multinationals or enterprises. And Mythos, if it is as strong as claimed (it might not be), will be an NSA/CIA/DIA AI and funded accordingly.

    So the consumer side will wither and die over the next year — at least for Anthropic. We’ll see if I’m right. I am certainly not going to use Opus 4.7 at its price point unless I’m building major product.

    Also, they are clearly delusional, as this post below clearly outlines. The 4.7 deployment is a dumpster fire and reality — native 4.6 was a pleasure to use despite any issues. Not sure why I should pay almost 50% more (the reality of the token consumption rate) for a product that isn’t even 25% better. And the crippled version of 4.6 is helpful but I would never build product on it. And I’m not alone.

    And Anthropic had clobbered itself in another way before the present fiasco.

    From a business perspective NONE of the changes make sense. For all intents in purpose they partially crippled the product while increasing actual cost. Someone who does NOT understand economics is making poor, poor decisions.

    That’s being generous. It’s perfectly possible that this is the behavior of an org that knows its profitable price point is at an unsustainable spot because, having spent money like drunken sailors, you can’t get there from here. They have to go bust, and re-org on a 30x price drop.

    And even though Indian AI’s are presently crap (in relative terms) they are fast upcoming. Give them 2 years. The Chinese AI’s that are available can and do run on properly soup-ed up servers. I have one in the basement. It is slow, it’s pedantic, and I have to bluntly order it to do the whole task. It actually leaves things undone with [//Put More Functions Here]]. But it is an older gen AI. I am reliably informed that the latest gen with 35Billion parameters gives Claude Opus a run for its money. But I’ll need to get a major GPU to accelerate things.

    But then I will essentially be free of Anthropic. And good riddance.
