    To make this situation a real disaster Zelensky decides that it makes sense to remove the artillery from the fortified positions and move them into the Kherson area in the South where Russia is weak in artillery numbers. Not thinking about the reality that Russia can see transfers of artillery. Nor paying attention to the reality that fortified positions without artillery support makes the soldiers there, cannon fodder for Russian artillery and new killing fields. No wonder whole brigades are refusing to fight to needlessly die for no purpose.

    One does question whether knowing realities, does the decision to sacrifice troops a war crime or simple incompetence? Leaving troops defenseless without artillery to use riffles against artillery is a sure way to see a slaughter, without purpose. Perhaps posing for Vanity Fair is more important that caring about needless death of Ukrainians.

    If this was a business he would be out on his ass for gross negligence. Should we think that this daily defeat is not a stain on those planning a counter attack that never can happen? Is it so unbelievable to realize the Russian with their advances have fire control over roads so that artillery that was moved can never be returned in time to save the troops in fortified lines?

    This is the real travesty that has yet to see public writing but one day it will come.

    When the Russians can rain 6500 artillery shells in a concentrated area, yes, it is hell. A hell few soldiers get to walk away from.     Rebuilding is well under way in Mauripol with the population there expected to double within 3 years as the city is rebuilt.

    With a population of roughly 30 million and not the 52 million touted, one does wonder how many more will need to be sacrificed before there is change. As it is more than 4 million people left for the West and many who fled to Russia are returning as villages and towns are being rebuilt. The Eastern part of what was Ukrainian at one time will likely come back far stronger than it was before and integrated into the Russian economy.

    At least two explosions were reported near western Ukraine’s border with Poland on Tuesday night.

    A Russian missile hit a Ukrainian military installation in the Chervonograd region, Lviv regional administration said.

    Regional governor Maksim Kozytskyi said via Telegram that he had no information about the damages.

    Ukraine’s Air Force General Staff said the Russian armed forces fired eight missiles, clarifying that the missiles were fired from strategic bombers flying over the Caspian Sea.

    Russia: The direct involvement of the USA in the war in Ukraine
    Earlier, Russia said on Tuesday (2/8) that the United States is directly involved in the war in Ukraine because American spies approve and coordinate Ukrainian missile strikes against Russian forces.

    Russia’s Defense Ministry said Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of Ukraine’s military intelligence services, admitted to the Telegraph newspaper that Washington was coordinating the HIMARS missile strikes.

    Skibitsky told the British newspaper that there were consultations between US and Ukrainian intelligence officials before the strikes and that Washington had an effective veto over proposed targets, although he said US officials were not providing information on direct targets.

    The Russian Defense Ministry said the interview showed Washington was directly involved, despite repeated assurances that it was limiting its role in the conflict to arms supplies because it did not want a direct confrontation with Moscow.

    “All of this irrefutably proves that Washington, contrary to what the White House and the Pentagon claim, is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, ” the Defense Department said in a statement.

    “It is the Biden administration that is directly responsible for all Kiev-sanctioned missile attacks on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in populated areas of the Donbass and elsewhere, resulting in mass civilian casualties, ” the Defense Ministry said.

    There is currently no response to the Russian Defense Ministry’s allegations from the White House or the Pentagon.

    Years ago I was discussing a certain Roman battle (I don’t remember which), and we were trying to imagine what the aftermath of such warfare in those days looked like. Almost all deaths were from loss of blood due to stabbing or spearing. This is just one guy who bled out from a throat wound from a bullet. Imagine what a field looked like at Cannae, with 50,000 dead on the ground by end of day.

          A parallel problem is that we keep running around like unsupervised children in a school yard, where most all of us just want our sandwich, talk to the pretty girl, and play soccer but the sociopaths keep trying a mayhem agenda. At least at recess we could pummel those who made trouble and take the stick from the bully and beat him with it. Admittedly harder to do with nuclear weapons.

          The strategic problem is a larger polity can always swallow the order-of-magnitude smaller polity. Period. Full stop. Either accept and walk away or go all in and sink them. My medical status is not and will not be considered a negotiable item or as a ‘condition of employment'”. They had a fit. How dare I at the price they were willing to pay. (It was a good offer). I replied had I been somehow unclear upfront? No but… wouldn’t I reconsider, after all we can’t have you endanger other Employees or Clients… To which I pointed out the mRNA jab was selectively lethal, prone to adverse events, neither prevented infection nor prevented transmission, so what’s the point? You’d rather endanger me? More employer screeching, mandatory this and that, Biden, etch. I politely told them to F Off and Die.         2. Good on you!!! I have been fortunate in the sense that I have not been faced with such a situation. Not one employer has “mandated” that I get the jab. I worked for a company for 7.5 years up until they closed shop last April. My current employer is a small business construction company and the owner has never been vaxxed!!

          I have been very politely adament about my children not being vaccinated and not wearing masks in/for school.

          I still say we need to seperate the country… All of us Pure Bloods just have our own businesses and way of life. There are plenty of wonderful men and women in all professions who needlessly lost their jobs due to this absurdity!

          On another note: It would be nice to get “a good offer!” LOL!

            I can’t even begin to tell you the crap I’ve been thru. Family, friends and job. The insanity of this mRNA jab. The absolute capitulation to authority figures. At least I saved some of my inlaws. But in direct blood relations they all insanely got the jab and the boosters and even the regular flu nonsense. I have a niece-in-law on my wife’s side who was triple jab and boostered who somehow managed to get pregnant and I await birth with trepidation. On a statistical basis I expect the child to be seriously deficient in some way. I pray that Dr. Michael West’s adage, that the egg fixes most everything it can, indeed chopped up the vile mRNA goop.

            I was… content… for various reasons to have a quiet lifestyle doing remote EEG analysis collaborating with the occasional Doc that wanted to reverse some autism and PTSD. But virtually all of this business was a cash and carry. The devastation of the pandemic closures crushed this line of work to zero. So back in the workforce, and at every twist and turn, the damn vaxx mandate. Normally I would just go fix the IT of some multihospital multiclinic system. Nope… they’ve all drank the Kool-Aid so badly one can’t even talk rationally to them. “Vaccines are safe and effective.” You can’t even obliquely go “Maybe so, but the mRNA jab is not a vaccine, it certainly isn’t effective, and safety is assumed not proven.”

            My father was going to die from the disease more or less when he did. But he just had to take the jab, over my objections. It added liver cancer to his tribulations. But since nobody was going to treat that anyway, he died more or less on schedule. The malignant pleural effusion was just another bump on the road and another painful incision and midnight operation to drain said effusion.
